D. Moyes: Money taints the Premier League

San Sebastiano "Real Sociedad" head coach David Moyes gave an extensive interview to the English media, in which he mentioned the current problems of the English Premier League.

According to D. Moyes, the biggest problem is the huge money that English clubs generate in the market. "I think that the past Premier League season was the weakest I have ever seen. Perhaps unpredictability also contributed to that.

Another problem is the contribution of young English players to the team's results. Are we only interested in big names and money? British fans are quite educated, so that wouldn't be the answer for them."

Moyes also compared the giants of the Premier League and La Liga, stating that Barcelona and Real Madrid would also fight for the top two spots in England. "The Spanish giants would compete for the first two places in England. Meanwhile, Chelsea and Man City would compete in Spain for a place in the Top 4."

D. Moyes has managed two Premier League clubs during his coaching career - Everton and Man Utd.
