David Neres, who has spent the last few seasons in Ukraine, where he spoke his native language, has moved to play in Portugal. Benfica officially announced that they acquired the 25-year-old Brazilian from the Shakhtar Donetsk team. The Lisbon team paid 15 million euros for the forward, who practically did not play any matches for the Ukrainian club after moving there to play in January from Ajax. It was at Ajax where D. Neres shone the most and introduced himself to Europe. In his last seasons at Ajax, D. Neres played poorly, but in total, during his time there (5 seasons), he scored 42 goals and made 32 assists in the Eredivisie and the Champions League.
