Despite a great season and a good performance in the European Championship, "West Ham United" defender Dimitri Payet confirmed to journalists that he will play for this club next season.
The 29-year-old player has attracted the interest of several famous clubs during this off-season, including Real Madrid. However, Payet himself admitted to journalists that he has no plans to leave his current team.
"I have heard about the interest in me and I am flattered. But I love the 'West Ham United' club. We had a fantastic season and I can't wait for our games at the Olympic Stadium. I will stay 100% in the 'West Ham' club that I love. I can confirm this to all the 'Hammers' fans," Payet said to The Sun.
Last season, the defender scored 9 goals and made 12 assists in the Premier League.
