„Manchester City“ defender David Silva, after suffering an injury in Sunday's match against London's „West Ham“, has already returned to the team's training sessions.
The Spaniard was knocked out by a „hammer“ player Cheikhou Kouyate. After this incident, Silva even needed an oxygen apparatus.
„City“ coach later said he was worried that the defender had a fractured cheekbone, but tests showed that there was no fracture, so today Silva was able to train.
Koyate, in turn, apologized to the Spaniard on twitter: „I would like to tell Silva that I am very sorry that you were injured in Sunday's match, my action was not intentional.“
„I was trying to win the ball and my focus was on it. I always aim for the ball, not the player. You are a great guy and a great player and I hope you will be back on the field very soon.“
This weekend, „City“ will face recently FA Cup finalists Birmingham's „Aston Villa“. Whether Silva will be able to play is still unclear.
