Goal.com reported that Manchester City star David Silva will be forced to miss this week's Premier League clash against London's Tottenham.
The same source also reported on Monday that the Spaniard underwent further tests due to muscle spasms. These tests were necessary after the attacking midfielder felt unwell before the game against West Ham.
The "Citizens" lost that match 1-2, and Silva did not appear in the Capital One Cup match against Sunderland in the middle of the week.
The team's medical staff ordered Silva to rest in order to be ready for Wednesday's UEFA Champions League clash against Borussia Monchengladbach.
It is believed that Kevin De Bruyne will replace Silva in the number 10 position against Tottenham.
