"My players gave everything last night. It was evident in their performance, we did everything to win this match.
Despite the loss, I can be proud of our game. It was a classic cup match where two very good teams fought.
We took an early lead, later we had a few good chances. However, we can only congratulate "Girona", who never gave up and ultimately punished us," added D. Simeone.
This season, "Atletico" only has real chances to win the UEFA Champions League trophy. In the La Liga championship, "Barcelona" has firmly secured the leader position.
