Madrid's "Atletico" coach Diego Simeone once again expressed his belief in the capital city's club.
He is being targeted by potential successors to current managers such as London's "Chelsea", "Arsenal" and "Paris Saint-Germain", but the Argentine believes that the "mattress" team is also growing.
While it was previously almost certain that the 47-year-old specialist's career would turn to Milan's "Inter", it now seems more likely that the strategist will stay for a long time in the "Atletico" ranks.
"My future? I remain with 'Atletico'," Simeone said after the draw with Madrid's "Real".
"It is a big club and we are growing."
"I am proud of how the level of this club has been in the last decade, how we have competed with superclubs like Madrid and Barcelona, and how we have remained competitive."
Simeone is also determined to retain Atletico's brightest stars.
"I am working to ensure that Antoine Griezmann and Jan Oblak continue to play like this and improve even more," added the Argentine.
Under Simeone's leadership, Atletico has managed to win the La Liga championship, triumph in the Spanish King's Cup tournament, and reach the final of the UEFA Champions League twice.
