Diego Simeone hopes that Joao Felix will start demonstrating an even higher level of football.
The 20-year-old Portuguese, who became a record signing for "Atletico" this summer, has so far scored four goals and provided one assist in 16 matches.
Both J. Felix and the entire "Atletico" team have faced problems in attack this season - only five teams in "La Liga" play less efficiently.
"I want to see him in the best possible form. He is improving and giving a lot to the team. We need to find a better connection between our attackers," said D. Simeone.
Currently, "Atletico" occupies the seventh position in "La Liga." This evening, the "rojiblancos" will face "Osasuna" from Pamplona at home.
"We need to improve our game in the national championship. We are facing a strong opponent, who entered "La Liga" in a very powerful way.
"Despite all the criticism and various opinions, our goal is to find balance and move forward. Once we do that, we will have more chances to win matches," added the manager.
