D. Stankevičius leaves Vilnius 'Žalgiris' club and will continue to play for 'Sūduva'

For the last two years, midfielder Darius Stankevičius, who played on loan at "Sūduva," will continue his career with the Marijampolė team.

D. Stankevičius represented "Žalgiris" youth teams from 2017 to 2023, playing in the second and third tiers of the country's divisions.

The player typically started his preparation for the season in Vilnius but later would be loaned to the "Sūduva" team.

Earlier this year, the midfielder also prepared for the season with the Lithuanian champions but chose to continue his career in Marijampolė, signing a contract with the local club.

"I would like to sincerely thank you for the time spent at your club. It was an honor to be part of this organization, to grow both as a player and as a person, and to contribute to the common goals. I am grateful for the opportunities, experience, and all your support. I wish the club and the entire team the greatest success in the future – may you be accompanied by victories, growth, and ambitious goals," D. Stankevičius wrote in his farewell.
