D. Stankevičius will remain in Marijampolė's "Sūduva" for years

In the upcoming season, Darius Stankevičius, who has already played one season at Marijampolė's "Sūduva", is returning to the team for another year. Along with him, Motiejus Burba also arrives from Vilnius. Both footballers are loaned to "Sūduva" from "Žalgiris".

The 19-year-old midfielder D. Stankevičius played 28 matches in the A league last season.

It was in "Sūduva" in 2023 that D. Stankevičius made his debut in the A league, the midfielder was also called up to the Lithuanian youth (up to 21 years old) team.

"Last season was very interesting. A new team meant new experience, it was a debut in the highest Lithuanian league. We didn't reach the desired 6th place, so next season we will strive for an even higher one," said D. Stankevičius.
