At the moment, Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck, who is recovering from injury, hopes to return to the field in January.
In September, the Englishman underwent surgery due to recurring knee problems. He has not played any games this season so far.
"It is difficult to determine the exact date, but it will be around the New Year," The National asked Welbeck when he will return.
"After the operation, my leg was in a cast for four weeks, it was not easy. I had to do a lot of mechanical work, working about 6 hours a day."
"It's good to finally walk. It seems like I am slowly approaching a return to the field."
"I feel disappointed watching the action from afar, because I can't help in any way. I just have to try to maintain motivation. I have the appetite, I simply want to get back on the field and show what I can do."
"Of course, there are days when I just want to play, but it's a process that I have learned to accept over time. On the other hand, it is difficult."
Welbeck also added that he believes Arsenal will finally triumph in the Premier League for the first time since 2004.
