"TOPsport A lygoje" after more than a decade break in Gargzdai, Alytus DFK "Dainava" won the victory. In the 15th round, the Alytus team defeated the "Bangos" football players with a score of 3:0 (0:0).

In the 2024 season debut, Gargzdai goalkeeper Kornelijus Smilingis in the first half repelled shots from Artiom Baftalovsky and Dmytro Mandrychenko, while on the other side of the field, Cesinha attacked sharply a couple of times. Pijus Srebalis also redirected the ball next to the goal.

In the 59th minute, the guests broke ahead. D. Mandrychenko provoked K. Smiling's penalty in the penalty area - the penalty was converted by Renatas Banevicius. After 9 minutes, Chibuike Nwosu, who was actively participating in the match, turned a counterattack into the second goal.

"Banga" unsuccessfully tried to reduce the score, but conceded another opponent's goal with a quick attack. In the final attacks, in the added minute of stoppage time, Danielis Misiūnas celebrated the first goal in the "TOPsport A Lyga."

The Alytus club won in Gargzdai in the Lithuanian championship for the first time since 2011.
