In the last match of the "Optibet A League", Alytus' "Dainava" defeated Marijampolė's "Sūduva" 1:0 (0:0) as guests, but took the ninth place and dropped to the First League. The fighting Dzūkai broke through 78 minutes after the 16th goal of Said Hamuličius in the championship. However, the joy for the guests was only temporary due to the unfavorable outcome of the matches of "Kauno Žalgiris" and Gargždai "Bangos" ("Banga" celebrated victory 1:0). "Dainava" (35 points) finished ninth in the championship, which means that Tomo Ražanauskas' players will have to compete in the First League next year. "Sūduva" (70 points) finished second in the tournament.
