In the current season, Alytaus DFK "Dainava" is currently holding the 7th place in the "Optibet A Lyga" and is strengthening its lineup by inviting defender Emanuel Pereira from Brazil. The twenty-year-old Brazilian is coming to Alytus from the "Atletico Mineiro" club.
"He is a young player, but he is coming to us from an excellent Brazilian club. We know that Brazil has deep football traditions and excellent football skills are formed there from a young age. I have no doubt that Emanuel will help us in upcoming matches," - said DFK "Dainava" head coach Sergejus Kuznecovas about the newly joined defender.
The new Dainava player can make his debut in the Alytus team already this Sunday in the central match of the 22nd round of the "Optibet A Lyga". On July 16, "Dainava" will meet the Vilnius team "Riteriai" at the LFF stadium.
