The long-running negotiations between defender Dani Alves and "Barcelona" club have finally borne fruit.
The website "Goal.com" reports that the Brazilian has agreed to the conditions proposed by the Catalan team and will sign a new contract in the coming weeks.
The veteran will commit to defending the colors of the "Barcelona" team for the next two seasons.
According to the old contract, D. Alves used to earn 7 million euros per year.
Earlier, the 32-year-old player was disappointed by the initial offer from Barcelona - a one-year contract, with the possibility of extending for two more years, but D. Alves would have had to play in at least 60 percent of the club's matches.
