Sources claim that the celebrity has become entangled in profitable financial schemes, as reported by "Mail Online". A total of 18.6 million emails and documents were leaked and published by the website "Football Leaks". The servers of the company "Doyen Global", managed by former footballer's public relations expert Simon Oliveira, were hacked. It is suspected that D. Beckham is involved in a complex tax avoidance scheme. He has already been warned by the UK tax authority (HM Revenue & Customs). The Honours Committee had stated that D. Beckham, likely with his public relations team, could win a prestigious award. But then came the time for a routine tax investigation. He barely missed a knighthood in 2014, later it was believed that he could be nominated in 2016... But now it seems that this title may be lost forever. For a long time, an investigation was conducted on D. Beckham. Various types of information were collected about the former athlete: even all the evidence collected showed that D. Beckham engaged in charity work just to be awarded a prestigious title. It is believed that even as a "Unicef" ambassador, he spent a significant amount of money just to gain more respect.
