Dazzling "Man City" victory marked by VAR show and R. Sterling's "hat-trick"

On Saturday after lunch, the second season match of the English "Premier" League took place, which entered the history of the championship.

"West Ham" hosted the two-time reigning country champion "Manchester City" at home. The "Citizens" bombarded the opponents' goal, and the VAR system was used for the first time in the "Premier" League.

The start of the match was not easy for the Man City team - Pep Guardiola's players failed to take control of the ball, and in attack, the "final pass" was often missing.

However, in the 25th minute, Gabriel Jesus relieved the pressure from the English champions with an excellent pass from Kyle Walker, leading the visitors forward.

The real action began in the second half, when "Man City" punished the hosts with four goals. In the 51st minute, Raheem Sterling scored his first goal.

Shortly after, the same R. Sterling made a successful pass to G. Jesus, but after the VAR intervention, the goal was disallowed for Man City. The referees in the VAR room saw a "millimeter" offside from R. Sterling.

In the 75th minute, the Man City team finally managed to take their third goal - R. Sterling scored for the second time in this match. And this goal required careful review in the VAR system.

In the 84th minute, VAR intervened again in the match - Sergio Aguero missed the 11-meter penalty on the first attempt, but after the repetition, it was observed that Declan Rice had entered the penalty area before the time. S. Aguero did not miss the second attempt and the score became 4-0.

In the end of the match, in the added time, R. Sterling, who scored a hat-trick, added the final blow to the encounter.
