In the Champions League quarter-finals, the subdued "Man Utd" goalkeeper David De Gea would not object to defending the colors of the Premier League team for many more years.
According to "The Times", the 28-year-old Spaniard is unsettled by the passive actions of the "Red Devils" management in negotiating a new contract.
However, there may be a serious reason for this - D. De Gea wanted to match his salary with the team's forward Alex Sanchez and thus outdo all his teammates.
It was previously reported that the 30-year-old Chilean earns a weekly wage of £391,000, and an additional £75,000 for every game played.
Such conditions, according to one of the team's directors, Ed Woodward, are impossible and have become the main obstacle in reaching an agreement.
