During the World Cup qualifying match, the French team defeated the Bulgarians 4:1, however, coach Didier Deschamps was not satisfied with midfielder Paul Pogba's performance.
"He can and should play better. When Paul is assigned a defensive midfielder role, it's not the most pleasant thing for him. He needs to become a part of the structure and participate in defensive actions. But he has everything to do it. Of course, Pogba did some good things, but not everything went well for him," Deschamps stated.
The coach praised the goals scored by K. Gameiro and A. Griezmann.
"Kevin came here to score goals and he succeeded twice today. Gameiro played for the team and his partnership with Griezmann worked very well."
