The star Didier Drogba has stated that he finds it difficult to adjust to his new life in England. The 27-year-old forward joined the London team last summer for £24 million.
The Ivory Coast national team footballer scored 16 goals this season, but this is far from the result that the "Chelsea" managers and fans expected after investing a huge sum in him. Now D.Drogba says he misses his French life.
"Living in England is not easy," the player said. "I need to adapt and I find it difficult. Everything is very different. My mood suffers because of it."
"On the other hand, there were great moments here, like the celebration of the title we won. It was an unforgettable moment, and that's why I came here. It must be admitted that football in England is truly exceptional."
D.Drogba also did not deny the desire to return to "Marseille" at a later stage of his career.
"Marseille is in my heart. That's what I said when I left the team and nothing has changed in those months," he said.
"Now I am the champion of England and one day I want to become the champion of France as well, and of course, the best with "Marseille". But I would return to the Marseille team only if there was a strong team capable of fighting for the title."
