Italian football legend Daniele De Rossi begins a season for the first time in his 18-year career not in the "Roma" team.
The 36-year-old midfielder said goodbye to "Roma" after last season and unexpectedly moved to Argentina, to the "Boca Juniors" club. Initially, it was expected that De Rossi would continue playing in his homeland, but he decided on radical career changes.
De Rossi has already made his debut in the "Boca Juniors" team and scored a goal. The player explained that offers from the Far East were not important to him.
"There is a lot of money in China, but I asked myself if that is really what I want," - said the Italian during the conversation.
"I still wanted to feel alive and happy. Where else could I feel that if not in the "Roma" club? My first answer has always been "Boca Juniors"," - added the player.
De Rossi also talked about his idol: "Riquelme is my hero, and the hero of all Italians. Judging by his abilities, he is the second best midfielder I have ever seen. The first is Andres Iniesta."
