Italy national team's defender Daniele De Rossi will have to miss the European Championship qualifying match at home against Serbia due to injury.
The 27-year-old defender was diagnosed with a muscle strain during training, so the medical staff advised national team coach Cesare Prandelli not to include the player in the lineup.
De Rossi returned to Roma and, according to the club's medical staff, only experienced a minor strain, so he will likely be able to help the team in the weekend Italian championship match against "Genoa."
