One of the best Spanish football specialists of all time, Vicente del Bosque, claims that he wouldn't want to have a player like Neymar in his club.
This summer, Neymar was arguably the most discussed footballer in the world. Neymar wanted to leave Paris Saint-Germain and return to Barcelona, but this plan fell through due to the player's high price.
Del Bosque says that Neymar's character and actions off the field raise doubts about his professionalism.
"I think Neymar's return could have been beneficial, but if I were a club, I definitely wouldn't want to sign a contract with such a player.
Don't get me wrong - he is a wonderful player, but I don't like him for other reasons," said del Bosque.
When asked about another drama of this summer - Zinedine Zidane's desire to get rid of Gareth Bale, del Bosque didn't rush to blame the Frenchman: "I'm not surprised why Zidane wanted to sell Bale, because I know that the player's behavior was not appropriate. No one can say that he was a bad player, but it's obvious that he didn't fit in Madrid. Few could doubt his skill."
