The strategist of the Spanish national team Vicente Del Bosque says that the Darius and Girėnas Stadium is not suitable for playing football.
"We know how tight the schedule is, but the pitch is very very bad," the coach revealed to Spanish journalists. "We are ready, we would like to play, but it is difficult."
He continued: "It is an obvious fact, such a pitch is unsuitable for football. If we have to play, we will try to adapt, but the conditions will not be good for either us or our opponents."
The specialist also assured that the world champions would not change their style: "Maybe we will be a bit more cautious, but there is no time to change anything."
Del Bosque positively evaluated the Lithuanian national team: "They are a united team demonstrating team football. They can launch quick attacks if they have the opportunity."
He added that he does not see a big difference in the strength of the Czech Republic, Scotland, and Lithuanian national teams vying for second place.
