Legendary Juventus figure Alessandro Del Piero is not surprised by the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo did not score in his first three Serie A matches.
At 33 years old, Ronaldo's career in Italy did not start very successfully - although Juventus has not lost points, the Portuguese himself has yet to open his goal account.
According to the former Juventus striker, scoring goals in Serie A is difficult because players take defensive qualities very seriously.
"In Italy, we see defense as something more important, so it is difficult for all attackers. Cristiano Ronaldo should know this about his new championship," said Del Piero.
Nevertheless, the Italian is pleased that Juventus can achieve good results even without scoring their top players: "The team should be very happy because they managed to win all matches even when Cristiano and Dybala didn't score."
