Demba Ba continues his career not in England, but in Turkey. Istanbul's "Besiktas" confirmed that the striker, who belonged to London's "Chelsea" club, will now wear their jersey.
The 29-year-old footballer was officially introduced at a press conference on Wednesday. He also announced his move to "Besiktas" on his social media account.
"I am very happy because I was particularly impressed by the fans and the stadium of 'Besiktas.' I am excited about the opportunity to play for this club," D.Ba told journalists.
The Senegalese national team player likely feared competition in the "Blues" team, where Diego Costa will play next season. In less than two seasons, he scored 14 times.
Also strengthening is the Spanish club "Valencia," which shook hands with Benfica's safe Andre Gomes.
The 20-year-old footballer is a product of Benfica and played regularly in the first team last season, although he did not appear often in the starting lineup.
"Andre Gomes will undergo a medical examination on Thursday and will become the new player of Valencia," the official "Bats" website writes.
In the main team of the Portuguese champions, A.Gomes played 37 matches and scored four goals.
