London's "Arsenal" started their UEFA Champions League season with a 0:0 draw against Bergamo's "Atalanta" team.
However, the English side could have faced a much gloomier outcome in the away match if it weren't for the heroic performance of goalkeeper David Raya.
The 29-year-old Spaniard confidently caught the ball and miraculously protected the goal at least twice after Mateo Retegui attempted to convert a penalty kick.
After the match, D. Raya said:
"I just jumped where my goalkeeping coach suggested I should. He helped me a lot, so part of the credit goes to him."
"It was a penalty kick, and I was lucky to guess the direction the ball was going. Still, I couldn't fully defend it, and the opponent had another chance. I was quick enough to stop that shot as well."
According to statistics, D. Raya had only a 3% chance of not conceding a goal in this situation, but the Spaniard defied all theories.

One more fantastic (double) save after what he did in Premier League against Aston Villa. pic.twitter.com/vFa5qaPrO9
David Raya had a just 3% chance of saving a goal, based on the xGOT of these two shots.
