In the upcoming presentation of La Coruna's financial activities for the year, club president Augusto Cesar Lendoiro is expected to delight the team's fans - unofficially reported that the club has earned almost 300 thousand euros in profit this year, but this amount does not include the reduced debt of 23.7 million euros of "Deportivo".

Adding up these numbers, "Deportivo" unofficially reaches a profit of 24 million euros (almost 83 million litas), while the reduced debts of the club amount to 155 million euros (535 million litas). The majority of this debt was accumulated due to player acquisitions and the modernization of the "Riazor" stadium.

The club president also stated that "Deportivo" aims to completely cover its debts over the next 6-7 years, but this means they will have to reduce the debt by 20-25 million euros annually. According to Lendoiro, money for player acquisitions will be obtained by increasing the club's capital. In this way, they expect to have about 60 million euros within ten years.

It is reported that the club has already received 8.7 million euros for participating in this year's Champions League. The club management has calculated that this income will increase to 10 million euros, but this is half of what was expected before the season. The failure to receive this income means that "Deportivo" will have to find another source to completely fill its 86 million euro annual budget.
