Angel di Maria was not included in the Madrid line-up for Tuesday's Champions League match against Moscow's CSKA.
The Argentine national team member appeared on the field for the first time this year on Saturday and scored a goal against Santander's "Racing," helping to secure a 4-0 victory.
However, at the end of the match, he fell awkwardly on the ground and re-injured his right leg muscle, which had kept him out of games since December.
In addition to Di Maria, Lassana Diarra and Hamit Altintop will also be unavailable to play. On the positive side, full-back Alvaro Arbeloa will return to the line-up.
