This week, celebrating victory in the UEFA Europa League, Maurizio Sarri seems to be leaving the London-based "Chelsea" club.
Sources in Italy report that Sarri's next career step will be with Turin's "Juventus" club. Well-known journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the strategist only needs to await permission from Roman Abramovich to depart.
"Goal" journalist Romeo Agresti asserts that Sarri has already agreed on personal contract terms with "Juventus". The Italian club will not need to pay any compensation, as "Chelsea" itself approved Sarri's departure.
During the season, the strategist with "Chelsea" reached two finals, winning one of them, and also managed to finish third in the Premier League.
Nevertheless, Sarri had quite strained relations with the "Blues" leadership, who believe it would be best to entrust the coaching reins to club legend Frank Lampard.
