Diagnosed with anemia and exhaustion for Sneijder © EuroFootball.com

During the halftime of Saturday's match with "Brescia," Inter Milan's security guard Wesley Sneijder was diagnosed with anemia.

The impressive play of the Dutchman last season led to the triumph of the Italian club in the national championships and the Champions League, but now the footballer admits that he feels exhausted.

"I started shaking and feeling pain all over my body," Sneijder told "De Telegraaf." "I felt very bad and lost consciousness.

"The doctors immediately checked my heart condition and blood. Later, I went back to the Netherlands for the opinion of other doctors. It turned out that I have anemia and exhaustion of the whole body."

Inter did not comment on this situation, but Sneijder was not included in the lineup for Wednesday's match against "Lecce."
