After the World Cup quarter-final match between the national teams of Portugal and Switzerland (6:1), fans started talking about the strange behavior of Portuguese player Bernardo Silva.
After his team's first goal, the 28-year-old winger did not celebrate with his teammates and tried not to step out of the box.
According to foreign media speculation after the match, this was most likely due to caution.
Anticipating a few steps forward, B. Silva was afraid that his overly excited compatriots would hinder the celebration and that the Swiss could start an unexpected attack to equalize the score.
That's why the footballer carefully watched the opponents' actions and was ready to sound the alarm when needed.
