The Spanish sports newspaper "Marca" claims that Michael Ballack could be one step away from joining Madrid.
The German national team player has clearly stated to the officials of the "Real" club that he would gladly represent this club and is ready to accept the conditions that will be offered.
At the moment, it seems that the player's move depends on the approval of the "Real" club's coach for the next season. The current "Real" club coach, Wanderlei Luxemburgo, is far from certain whether he will stay in Madrid next season, and his position has particularly weakened after the 3-0 defeat to Barcelona.
M. Ballack will become a free agent this summer after his contract with Munich expires.
