Although the team started the season really well (they won 4 out of the first 4 matches in the Bundesliga), lately they have been struggling. In the last 5 matches, "Wolfsburg" has only managed to earn one point, and in the Champions League the "Wolves" have 2 points after 3 rounds. "I am surprised and disappointed by this decision, as I was sure we would bounce back," commented M. van Bommel on the situation.
