Cristiano Ronaldo was disappointed after yesterday's ceremony for the best FIFA footballers in Milan.
The Turin Juventus striker took only third place and had to leave behind Barcelona's representative Lionel Messi and Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk.
After the ceremony, C.Ronaldo posted a message on social media:
"Patience and persistence are two characteristics that differentiate a professional from an amateur. Everything that is great today started small. You cannot do everything, but do everything you can to make your dreams come true. And always remember that after the night comes the dawn."
