Disappointed "Hoffenheim" coach resigns after team leader's sales © EuroFootball.com

Together with the "Hoffenheim" club, coach Ralf Rangnick, who was promoted from the third to the highest league in Germany, stepped down from his position by mutual agreement.

The 52-year-old specialist had extended his contract only until May until the summer of 2012. However, the decision of the team's leaders to sell Luiz Gustavo to Munich's "Bayern" team regardless of his opinion led to an early end to his work.

Currently, "Hoffenheim" is in eighth place in the Bundesliga standings.

Instead of Rangnick, the team will now be coached by his former assistant Marco Pezzaiuoli.
