Bayern Munich's defender Sebastian Rode stated that he hardly communicates with head coach Pep Guardiola, who gives him very little time on the field.
The German joined Bayern in the summer of 2014, but has yet to establish himself in the main lineup. This season, S. Rode has played only 13 matches. In the UEFA Champions League, the defensive midfielder has played only one minute this season.
"Guardiola doesn't talk much with me, so I really don't know my true role in Bayern club and why I haven't been playing regularly," said S. Rode.
"Matthias Sammer talks to me more, so he knows the situation better. Many people in the club are satisfied with me, but I am not satisfied.
It's an unpleasant situation, but I'm not going to give up. You can't give up in such situations," added the 25-year-old Bayern defender.
