World champion Germany national team fought back in a tough and intense match to avenge their failure in the first group match against Mexico.
In the final seconds of added time, Joachim Low's pupils defeated Sweden 2:1.
At the beginning of the match, the Germans showed more activity, but the attempts of J. Draxler and M. Reus did not find the target.
In the 12th minute, the Swedes responded with a dangerous counterattack, but M. Berg's shot was blocked by M. Neuer, and the referee remained deaf to the fallen striker's complaints.
