Disqualification for T. Muller: German will miss both matches against "Liverpool"

Upon returning from vacation, the Munich team "Bayern" received very unpleasant news from UEFA - Thomas Muller has been disqualified for the upcoming two matches.

The experienced German received a red card in the final UEFA Champions League group stage match, when he knocked out an "Ajax" defender with a karate-style move. After reviewing the episode, UEFA decided that T. Muller will not only miss one match.

This means that "Bayern" will have to play without T. Muller in both quarter-final matches against "Liverpool".

"Bayern" quickly released an official statement, indicating that they will appeal this decision.

This season, T. Muller has scored five goals and provided six assists in 25 matches for Bayern.

The first match between "Bayern" and "Liverpool" will take place in England on February 19, with the return leg moving to Germany on March 13.
