Legendary footballer Diego Maradona regrets. Never hiding having had problems with drugs, the 53-year-old Argentinian would rather have refused the toxins that not only harmed his footballing career, but also his overall well-being.
"Now I feel like I'm 80," admitted Maradona, who constantly competes with Pele for the title of the greatest footballer of all time.
"If I hadn't used drugs, I would have become a phenomenal footballer," said the legendary forward. "Arriving in Europe, I knew that with such technique I could easily outplay any defender. When the ball ended up between my feet, others had nothing left but to admire my game."
After ending his career, Maradona had quite a few health problems caused by drug use.
Throughout his career, D. Maradona scored 346 goals, won championships in Argentina, Spain, Italy, and became a world football champion.
