52-year-old football legend Diego Maradona visited Italy and answered journalists' questions. As usual, the Argentine's answers were original and witty.

D. Maradona claimed that he was better than Pele, who is considered the greatest footballer of all time.

"I defeated the brown man in a people's vote. Pele even lost in Brazil! Ayrton Senna (the legendary Formula 1 racer who died in a race in Italy) was chosen as the greatest Brazilian athlete of all time. The FIFA prize awarded to Pele is worthless," said D. Maradona, bitterly.

Speaking about the best footballer of the present day, D. Maradona listed a top four: "First - L. Messi, second - C. Ronaldo, third - Neymar, fourth - M. Balotelli."

Throughout his colorful career, D. Maradona's personal life also had a dark side. However, the former footballer turned coach was always willing to open up about it.

"I once thought I could do anything. That's why I experienced everything. I hit rock bottom - I hurt my mother, my daughters, my wife. I disappointed many people. I want to tell all children - do not use drugs. It's a horrible habit," shared D. Maradona from his own experience.

He emphasized that in four months, it will be exactly 10 years since he stopped using drugs. After these words, the audience burst into applause.
