The team of Dnepropetrovsk "Dnipro" dedicated yesterday's victory against "Napoli", which allowed them to advance to the UEFA Europa League final, to the entire Ukraine.
Defender Artem Fedetskiy insisted that this victory belonged to the soldiers. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Denis Boyko stated that the team's journey is like a dream for the whole nation.
It is worth mentioning that due to the ongoing war in Eastern Ukraine, "Dnipro" is forced to play all home matches in Kiev.
"Although I can't believe what happened, I have to say that I have been waiting for this for a long time" - said Fedetskiy.
"I dreamed of the Ukrainian Cup and the Europa League final. I am proud of this city, team, and country."
"This victory is dedicated to our soldiers, who defend us and our country. They are our heroes."
Boyko, who saved his team six times yesterday, thanked the fans who stayed in the stadium despite the rain.
"Thank God, together with our passionate fans and the whole country, we have a dream that we can believe in" - said the goalkeeper.
"Only the final remains."
