Sources in Italy report that Mario Balotelli, no longer in the plans of "Liverpool" club, may move to "Lazio", but only if the club reaches the Champions League group stage.
"Lazio" is currently leading against Leverkusen's "Bayer" with a score of 1-0 after the first matches. The second leg will take place in Germany on Wednesday.
"Liverpool" coach Brendan Rodgers does not hide the fact that the Italian national team striker is not part of his plans for the next season and has encouraged the player to find another club.
According to "Tuttomercatoweb", M. Balotelli is willing to be loaned to "Lazio" and is awaiting the fate of the capital club in the Champions League.
The portal states that "Liverpool" is willing to pay 70% of Balotelli's salary, which amounts to about 6 million euros per season.
Despite that, Balotelli's annual salary of 1.8 million euros would still make him one of the highest-paid players at "Lazio", so the club does not want to commit without knowing their fate in the Champions League.
