In the middle of the table of the German championship tournament, Dortmund has agreed on the transfer of two players from Dutch clubs. The German club will be supplemented by Arnhem's "Vitesse" forward Matthew Amoah and Amsterdam's "Ajax" defender Steven Pienaar.

The 25-year-old Ghanaian national team forward M. Amoah has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the "Bundesliga" club, which will start in January, when the winter transfer window opens. M. Amoah helped his national team qualify for the 2006 World Cup in Germany this year.

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old South African defender S. Pienaar has preliminarily agreed on a three-year contract with "Borussia," but he will only move to Dortmund after the season, and he will do so without any transfer fee, as his contract with the Dutch club will have expired by then.
