Doneck's "Shakhtar" defender Douglas Costa says that a move to London's "Chelsea" would be a dream come true, however, according to reports, the first offer of 21 million euros from the "Blues" was rejected.
The press reports that the "Premier League" leaders are actively looking for ways to strengthen the team for the ongoing fight for the champions' title this winter. One of the candidates named is also "Fiorentina" representative Juan Cuadrado.
Douglas Costa also confirmed these rumors.
"A move to Chelsea would be a dream come true. It is a unique opportunity for me", - the Brazilian told Globo Esporte. "I have been representing Shakhtar for five years now and I think now is the time to leave. I will try to speak with the team's managers."
Arriving from "Gremio" in 2010, the defender scored twice and made five assists in 17 games in all competitions this season.
