Darvydas Šernas may soon find himself in Croatia. The country's media reports that Łódź's "Widzew" has agreed to sell the Lithuanian player to Split's "Hajduk".

The value of the deal is not disclosed, but it could be around a million euros.

"Widzew" decided to sell the player who scored 10 goals last season due to financial difficulties.

Šernas is expected to travel to Split, where he will negotiate personal contract terms and undergo a medical examination.

Previously, the Lithuanian was interested in England's "Premier" League team "Blackpool" as well as Poznań's "Lech".

"Hajduk" finished second in the Croatian championship, behind only Zagreb's "Dinamo". The club will compete in the Europa League tournament next season.
