Today the Dutch "Eredivisie" championship ended, the end of which was one of the most dramatic in the history of the whole championship.
Before the last match, "Ajax" and PSV had the same number of points, but if both teams had equal points, the title would have been won by the "Ajax" team. In the last round, they played away against "De Graafschap" club, which was in the penultimate place, so few expected PSV to win the title.
"Ajax" took the lead in the 16th minute and it seemed like the title was within their reach. However, "De Graafschap" equalized the result in the second half, and PSV had a two-goal advantage in their match, so in order to fight for the trophies, "Ajax" had to score a goal. Despite all the efforts and opportunities created, "Ajax" could not break through the opponents' defense, so the champions' title went to the PSV team.
