At 2 p.m. at UEFA headquarters, the Europa League round of 32 draw took place. The 32 teams were divided into pairs. Eight teams that finished third in their groups in the UEFA Champions League will continue their journey in Europe by playing in the Europa League tournament. London clubs were lucky in the draw - Arsenal will face Bate Borisov, while Chelsea will play against Malmo. One of the more interesting matchups will be Sevilla vs Lazio, as well as Sporting Lisbon vs Villarreal. Italian teams that dropped out of the Champions League will also face tough opponents - Inter Milan will play against Rapid Vienna, Napoli against Zurich. The Europa League knockout matches will begin on February 14th, with the final taking place on March 14th.
