Drunken Polish judges caused scandal in Greece © stopkadras

On Sunday, the referees who were supposed to work in the highest league of Greece got involved in a scandal from Poland.

The brigade led by Pawel Ratkowski increased their alcohol consumption while flying to the match between Salonika's "Aris" and Athens' AEK clubs.

The Poles loudly discussed and criticized the Greek football league, which was not liked by the Greek passengers on the plane.

Later, the referees provoked the passengers of the plane and even took back their luggage. It is reported that one of the referees even spit in the face of a child's parent.

Eventually, the Polish festivities moved to a night club.

The organizers of the Greek league, unable to reach the referees, were forced to urgently invite a backup - a local referee.

Later on, the Poles tried to deny this story and claimed that it was a misunderstanding and that they were sober.
