The police had to evacuate the London "Tottenham" training base, as a suspected bomb from World War II times was found.
People had to leave the complex in Enfield around 3 pm local time yesterday, and the area had to be later secured by officers.
Surrounding roads were also closed and the London Fire Brigade was called.
The police reported that for safety reasons, some houses near the area also had to be evacuated.
It is not yet known if the main team's footballers were at the training base at that time.
